Real Instagram Followers — Active Genuine Accounts

The word 'real' is used sloppily in the industry. Almost every provider claims their followers are 'real' — but what it actually means differs drastically. Here's how we define it at Boostora, and how our real-follower packages differ from budget alternatives.

Every account in our real-follower pool passes five concrete checkpoints:

1. **Profile picture.** The account has a unique image on the profile — not a generic silhouette, not a stolen image from Google (we run reverse image search spot checks). This eliminates about 40% of bot accounts immediately.

2. **At least five posts.** Real people publish content. Bot accounts often have 0–2 posts or duplicated posts across hundreds of thousands of accounts. We require at least 5 unique posts published over at least 2 months.

3. **Own follower count.** Real accounts are followed by other real accounts. We require every real-follower account in our pool to have at least 30 followers of its own. Bot accounts often have 0 or 1 follower (the bot network itself).

4. **Activity in the last 30 days.** The account should have logged in, liked a post, or commented at some point in the past month. Inactive accounts are cleaned more easily by Instagram.

5. **Varied IP history.** The account must not have logged in from the same IP as a hundred other accounts — that's a bot farm. Real-follower accounts have unique IP fingerprints that match actual usage.

This verification costs money. An account that passes all five checkpoints costs the supplier 3–8 times more to maintain than a raw bot account. That's the reason real-follower packages cost more — and it's exactly why the cleanup risk drops from 10–15% (budget) to under 5% (real).

We also run monthly audits of the pool. If a batch starts showing quality degradation signals we pull it from delivery. You'll never receive a follower from an account that doesn't pass the checkpoints on the same day you order.

That doesn't mean you should pick real-follower packages for all purposes. For pure social proof, or to pass psychological thresholds (1,000 / 10,000 / 100,000 followers), budget packages are entirely sufficient.
