Why Haven't My Purchased Followers Arrived? Troubleshooting Guide 2026
Followers haven't shown up after purchase? The 7 most common causes and concrete solutions. Plus when to wait and when to contact support.
You've bought followers, a few hours have passed, and the number on your account hasn't moved. Panic? Not yet. Here are the 7 most common reasons why purchased followers don't show up immediately, and exactly what to do.
The quick checklist
Before you panic, check:
- ✅ Has it been more than 30 minutes since payment?
- ✅ Is your Instagram/TikTok/YouTube account PUBLIC?
- ✅ Did you enter your username correctly when ordering?
- ✅ Was delivery scheduled or instant?
If you answer "no" to any of these — that's probably the problem. Read on.
Cause 1: Not enough time has passed
The reality: "Delivery within 0-15 minutes" means the process starts within 15 minutes. The delivery itself is spread out over a longer period to look natural.
Realistic times per package:
- 100 followers: 15-30 minutes to complete
- 500 followers: 30-60 minutes to complete
- 1,000 followers: 30-90 minutes to complete
- 5,000 followers: 4-8 hours to complete
- 10,000 followers: 12-24 hours to complete
- 50,000+ followers: 2-4 days to complete
Solution: If less than the expected time has passed, wait. Check Boostora's dashboard — there you can see real-time status for your order.
Cause 2: Your account is private
Boostora delivers followers through external accounts that follow you. If your account is private, they can't follow you without your manual approval — and they don't send follow requests.
Solution: Set your account to public during delivery. You can switch back to private as soon as delivery is 100% complete (see order status in the dashboard).
Cause 3: Wrong username entered
Classic mistake — you wrote your name with a capital letter, an extra dot, or an old username.
Solution:
- Open the dashboard and check the exact username you entered
- Compare it letter by letter with your current Instagram handle
- If it's wrong: contact Boostora support via email at support@boostora.se with the correct username. We'll redeliver manually.
Cause 4: Instagram's anomaly detection was triggered
In rare cases, Instagram's automated systems flag an account for "suspicious growth" and delay followers being sent to it. This mainly happens if:
- The account is brand new (created within the last 7 days)
- You've already had a big follower spike in the last 24h
- The content is unusual (no posts at all, for example)
Solution: Wait 24-48 hours. Instagram's flag then expires and delivery resumes automatically. Publish at least 3-5 posts if you have zero — it signals "real user".
Cause 5: You've received the followers but the number hasn't updated
The Instagram app and the website don't sync in real time. You may have received 500 new followers but the app still shows the old number.
Solution:
- Log out of the Instagram app
- Log in again
- Clear the app's cache (iOS: delete + reinstall; Android: Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear cache)
- Open Instagram in a web browser (instagram.com) — usually a more up-to-date number than the app
Cause 6: Followers arrived but "disappeared" shortly after
You got 500 new followers, then a couple of hours later they were gone. What happened?
Answer: Instagram's purge algorithm. Budget-quality accounts are sometimes removed by the platform within the first day. That's why Boostora has a 365-day refill guarantee on premium packages and 30 days on budget.
Solution: Contact support via the dashboard. We refill automatically within 24-48 hours at no extra cost if you're within the guarantee period.
Cause 7: The payment didn't go through correctly
Sometimes it feels like the payment succeeded but Stripe flagged it for manual review (e.g. the first time you use the card, or an unusual amount pattern).
Solution:
- Check your Stripe receipt via the email you provided
- If the status is "pending" or "under review": wait 24h
- If "failed": contact us — we'll redeliver once the payment goes through
What you should NOT do
1. Order the same package again. It doesn't double the delivery — you get two payments + confusion in our system. Contact support instead.
2. Open a chargeback with your bank. If delivery is delayed but on its way, a chargeback forces us to cancel the entire order + block your account. Wait at least 48h and contact support before you consider a chargeback.
3. Give your password to any "support" service that emails you. Boostora never asks for your password. If you receive such an email: it's a phishing attempt, report it to us.
When should I contact Boostora support?
Contact support@boostora.se if:
- 2x the expected delivery time has passed (e.g. a 1,000 package that hasn't started after 2 hours)
- Delivery started but stopped halfway and didn't resume within 4 hours
- Wrong username entered when ordering
- Followers arrived and disappeared (refill guarantee request)
- Payment appears to have been taken from your bank but no order shows in the dashboard
Our response time in Swedish: within 24 hours on weekdays, 48 hours on weekends.
Real-time status display
Boostora's dashboard shows real-time status for every order:
- Pending — payment being processed
- Processing — delivery sent to pool
- In Progress — followers being delivered right now (number updating)
- Completed — delivery 100% complete
- Partial — partially delivered, refill required
- Failed — delivery failed (rare; we refund or redeliver)
Check here first before emailing support — the answer is often there.
Summary
Delayed delivery is usually not "something has gone wrong" — it's normal processing time. Wait at least 2x the expected time before worrying. Check account privacy, username, and the dashboard. If you still have problems: support@boostora.se with your order ID.
99% of our orders are delivered within the promised time without issues. For the 1% where something happens, we have a robust support process to resolve it. No panic — we'll fix it.
